New Era Academy
Hurricane Helene Relief Campaign: Supporting Western NC Communities

Hurricane Helene left a devastating mark on Western North Carolina, upending lives and communities. While attention has been focused on Asheville, many smaller towns and rural areas across the region—including Boone and its neighbors—have been left behind, struggling to receive the resources and aid they desperately need. These tight-knit communities, often overlooked in disaster relief efforts, are home to families and friends who have lost everything.

New Era Academy has stepped in to help bridge this gap. With a $10,000 grant from United Way, we’re actively delivering food, water, and supplies to the hardest-hit areas. But this grant is restricted to immediate needs, leaving little room to address the broader, long-term recovery these communities desperately need.
